WORDED ADS:
All worded ads are formatted by PDN's design department. We use a standard font in print and online. The first line of your print ad is bolded free of charge. If you would like a particular font, size or logo included, please refer to the next section, CLASSIFIED 'DISPLAY' ADS. 'Worded' Classifieds are charged by the 'word': Black words are $3.35 each & Red words are $5.75 each. The PDN Classified ad run is one month.
The minimum number of words to each ad is 23, or $75 is the minimum cost of an ad. Phone numbers (including area code), number groups ( i.e. 35mm, 8X10) and abbreviations all count as words. There is an additional charge of $35.00 to repeat the same worded ad in both editions (magazine and online) of PDN classifieds, regardless of the size of the ad. However, the cost for ads placed solely online is the same as for the magazine. Hotlinks to websites and email addresses are available at an additional cost of $15.00 each (Please indicate this in Section 2 as well).
Indicate red words in the text of your ad by placing an '(R)' at the beginning and end of the section that will be in red. Additional design elements like borders, etc. are available. Please specify which ones you would like by marking off the appropriate boxes on the order form.
Your ad will be entered as you type it, so please be sure to read it carefully for accuracy of spelling and contact information before clicking the submit button. If you DO submit an incorrect ad, call the Classifieds immediately to notify us at 646-654-5793. You will be contacted for your credit card information in order to finalize your ad submission.
DISCOUNTS ON AD RUNS:
-Place an ad for 2 months and on the 2nd month get a month of web advertising at no extra charge!
-Place an ad 6x and receive a 10% discount
-Place an ad 12x and receive a 20% discount |

CLASSIFIED 'DISPLAY' ADS:
Classified display ads are a great way to give your unique branding message and company profile the very same exposure as other advertising in PDN at a minimal cost! We can insert your 'display' or image ad created by your own designer in B&W or 4-C in the Classified section. These ads must be submitted electronically. Email your ad materials to smookerjee@pdnonline.com or send MAC-FORMATTED on zip disk or CD, in the form of EPS or TIFF files, at a resolution of no less than 300 dpi. If color matching is an important factor, please send a color proof as well.
THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES DIRECTORY:
Do you offer professional services to the visual arts industry? Reach thousands of professional photographers by advertising in the prominently displayed Professional Services Directory in the back pages of PDN each month. Organized by business category and location, your company's name can appear in this handy section of the magazine in every serious photographer's studio, all year, for only $465 for a 2-line listing including company name, phone number, website and additional fax or email address. Pricing for classified display ads starts at $235 for a 2" x 1" ad square. Please keep in mind that the print classifieds run in 4 columns on the page. Each column accomodates a 2" wide ad that can run down the length of the column up to 8". Horizontal ads can be placed as long as they are 2, 4, 6 or 8 inches wide across the page to accommodate column width specifications. |
