New York : One Year Later

Every year, 100 budding photojournalists from all across the country converge on Eddie Adams' farm in Jeffersonville, New York to participate in a four day workshop where they interact with the best photographers in the business, getting hands-on instruction, inspirational lectures, and of course, plenty of shooting.

This year, instead of having the students turn their lens on Jeffersonville, the Eddie Adams Workshop turned them loose in Manhattan on the one-year anniversary of September 11. Their assignment? To come back with images that celebrate New York City. Breaking off into 10 groups, each lead by an industry veteran, the students returned with a marvelous collection of pictures capturing the culture, life and spirit of New York.
