Patrick Amsellem Patrick Amsellem, photo curator, brooklyn museum

Patrick Amsellem is the associate curator of photography a the Brooklyn Museum. He was formerly a curator at the Rooseum Center for Contemporary Art in Malmö, Sweden, where he organized the first Swedish exhibition of the work of Andreas Gursky. He has written extensively about art for newspapers and magazines, has taught at New York University and is the author of several exhibition catalogues. Amsellem received his M.A. and Ph.D. in art history and architectural history at New York Universityís Institute of Fine Arts.

W.M. Hunt W.M. Hunt, hasted hunt kraeutler gallery

W.M. Hunt is a New York-based collector, curator and consultant. He is a partner in HASTED HUNT KRAEUTLER gallery. Over the course of 35 years Hunt has collected many works by renowned artists, as well as documentary images and snapshots by amateur photographers. The body of work, titled ěThe Dancing Bear Collectionî will be featured in the upcoming Thames and Hudson publication The Unseen Eye. Hunt is on the boards of the W. Eugene Smith Memorial Fund, AIPAD, and The Center for Photo-graphy at Woodstock. He teaches at the School of Visual Arts.

Douglas Kirkland Douglas Kirkland, photographer

Douglas Kirkland has worked on the set of over 100 motion pictures. His books include, An Evening With Marilyn, James Cameronís Titanic and Coco Chanel, Three Weeks. He has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American S.O.C, a Lucie for Outstanding Achievement in Entertainment Photography (2003) and the Lifetime Achievement Award from CAPIC (2006). His current book projects include When We Were Young, and Michael Jackson, the Thriller Files. When he is not traveling the globe on assignment with his wife and business partner Francoise, his home and studio is in the Hollywood Hills.

Laura Valenti Laura Valenti, program director, newspace center for photography

Laura Valenti is the program director of Newspace Center for Photography, a nonprofit school, community darkroom, studio, digital lab and gallery in Portland, Oragon. Valenti juries widely for photography competitions and exhibitions, including Photolucida's Critical Mass and Center's Director's Choice Awards. She will be a reviewer at the upcoming Review Santa Fe. Her own work is in the collection at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago.

Arnt Fredheim Arnt Fredheim, writer, art critic and consultant

Arnt Fredheim is a writer, critic and consultant for the Statoil art program. He has acted as a lecturer and curator at the Munch Museum, National Gallery Oslo, University of Oslo, Kistefos Museum and at the Haugar Art Museum.

Kris Graves Kris Graves, co-director, kris graves projects

Kris Graves is the founder and co-director of Kris Graves Projects, a photography and works on paper gallery in D.U.M.B.O., Brooklyn. He also works as the collections photographer for the Guggenheim Museum of Art, in New York. His love for music and art is equal, as his life would be incomplete without one or the other. Graves holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in visual arts from Purchase College, in New York.
