Mark Pinsukanjana is the co-founder of Modernbook Gallery and Modernbook Editions in Palo Alto, California and is the curator of over one hundred photographic exhibitions. Modernbook Gallery represents more than 40 fine-art photographers internationally, including Brigitte Carnochan, Fan Ho, Tom Chambers, Brian Taylor, Maggie Taylor, Jerry Uelsmann and others.

Julia Vandenoever is the photo editor at Backpacker magazine, based in Boulder, Colorado. Her passion for photography has lead her to working at Skiing and Outside magazine, and as a project coordinator for Wendy Ewald's Literacy Through Photography program. Vandenovever also works as a freelance newspaper photographer.

Brenda Milis began working with photography as an art historian, receiving her B.A. at UC Berkeley and studying photo history on fellowship in the graduate division of Northwestern University. Getting her start in photo editing at Jane magazine, Brenda eventually helped launch Style.com, then moved to Santa Fe, NM to work as a photo editor at Outside magazine. She is currently the director of photography at Men's Health magazine.

Krista Rossow is the assistant photo editor for National Geographic Traveler magazine. After studying fine-art photography in college, Rossow spent a year working at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops where she honed her visual skills under Joel Sartore, David Alan Harvey and Nevada Wier. Rossow's photography is featured regularly in National Geographic Traveler, as well as other publications.
