I enjoyed the challenge of creating a spontaneous moment that gives the impression of something you might see out of the corner of your eye. This shot was quite funny because store- bought lingerie looked too new and so I had to ask those involved in the production to donate some vintage bras. After looking at the film, we decided that we should shoot the saxophone case a second time with fewer undergarments. We wanted the lingerie effect to be direct yet subtle, and the first take was a bit over the top. The second shot was placed digitally over the first one. It was part of a series of poster ads for the Woodwind & Brasswind of New York.
