Overall, this assignment was a perfect example of how the union of digital imaging and traditional photography can achieve fresh new perspectives and possibilities. The assignment was to artistically represent the Audi rings found "naturally" occurring in nature or environments. Considerable retouching and manipulation were required to achieve the final results. (Study of Rings was a series of ads created originally for Audi of America as special insertions in The New York Times Magazine).
