David J. Carol started his career at The Image Bank and went on to become the director of photography at Viacom Outdoor. He has been taking pictures for himself and others for over 20 years. His personal work is represented by the Stephen Daiter Gallery in Chicago. A book of his personal work from the past ten years, 40 Miles of Bad Road, will be released by the end of this year.
 
Brendan Dawes is creative director with interactive agency magneticNorth, based in the U.K. His portfolio of work includes projects for Disney, Golden Wonder, Benetton, Club 18-30, Volvic, Fox Kids, Kellogg's and Coca-Cola Schweppes. In addition to his commercial work, Dawes also has personal projects including the highly acclaimed Saul Bass Web site and its quirky offshoot, Psycho Studio, an application built entirely in Flash that allows you to edit your own version of the Psycho shower scene! He's a regular speaker at design seminars across the world including Flashforward New York and San Francisco, Macromedia Web World, Seattle, and Internet World.
 
Masie Todd began her career at LIFE magazine and then went on to work with the development team for the launch of ESPN Magazine. She worked with them for three years in conceiving and producing the kind of photography that would best represent their editorial mission. Todd left to join New York magazine where she was the deputy picture editor. She then moved to Boulder, Colorado where she worked for Travel & Leisure Golf. After returning to New York in 2000, she worked as a photography consultant for several clients, including Outside magazine. Todd is now the director of photography at Discover.
 
Jennifer Kilberg joined Universal Television's SCI FI Channel as photo editor in 2002, where she produces and hires photographers for all the photo shoots, providing the marketing, advertising and publicity departments with key images for all SCI FI movies and series. She has also worked at Kodak Professional as an account executive and prior to that at the postproduction department of Shoot Digital in New York. Kilberg is currently teaching at Parsons School of Design and is actively involved in the Eddie Adams Workshop.
 
Katie Schad joined The Source Sports magazine in October 1998 as photo editor. By October 1999, she was photo editor of The Source magazine, improving the caliber of the photography, seeking out and developing new talent, and visually bringing the magazine to the next level. Under her direction, The Source entered the prestigious SPD Competition for the first time in 2002 and won five merit awards. Most recently she was involved in the launch of the first edition of the French Source.
