BILL WERDE Jonas Nachsin has served as president of Roadrunner Records since 1999. In Nachsin’s ten years as president at Roadrunner, the label has enjoyed unprecedented success with bands such as Nickelback and Slipknot and is finding new success with the bands Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman and Killswitch Engage. The Roadrunner Records brand is recognized in the music industry and consumers as the top hard rock, metal and commercial rock record label in the music business. Other artists on the label include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Megadeth, Collective Soul, Madina Lake, Black Stone Cherry and Dream Theater.

LEE STIMMEL Dan Koplowitz wears many hats. He runs the New York-based record label Friendly Fire Recordings, which recently celebrated its 5th anniversary and has worked with artists such as Asobi Seksu, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, Oh No Ono, David & the Citizens, and Faunts. He also acts as a label liaison and all-around “idea guy” for Terrorbird Media, an independently-owned music marketing company with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Terrorbird’s label clients include: Domino, Mute, Ghostly International, Secretly Canadian, Stones Throw, Columbia, Kill Rock Stars, Vice, Warp, Ninja Tune, and many others.

JONAS NACHSIN Phil Bicker is an internationally renowned creative director who has worked for editorial, advertising, fashion and art clients. Phil initially established himself as an art director at The Face magazine in London where he gave many now established photographers their first commissions. He art directed Creative Camera magazine for a number of years and as creative director of Vogue Hommes International, he encouraged art photographers to make fashion stories. He is presently creative director at The Fader in New York where he has collaborated with a new generation of documentary image makers as he continues to place photography at the center of his creative endeavors.

AMELIA HALVERSON Along with three partners Ben Swanson started the record company Secretly Canadian in 1996. Clients include the bands Jagiaguwar and Dead Oceans. He lives in Bloomington, IN.

BILL WERDE Amelia Halverson is the photo editor of Billboard. She has been working with music photographers in the photo industry for nine years and is grateful that her work allows her to combine her love of music and photography. She was previously associate photo editor at Rolling Stone. She has produced photo shoots with artists including T.I., Panic at the Disco, Rick Ross, The Donnas and T-Pain. She has collaborated with photographers including Patrick Fraser, David McClister, Anthony Saint James and Jennifer Tzar.

AMELIA HALVERSON As Billboard’s editorial director, Bill Werde leads the editorial strategy and vision for the brand, which includes the weekly publication and Web sites (Billboard.com and Billboard.biz), as well as other digital content offerings and industry-leading conferences and events. Werde joined Billboard in July 2005 as senior news editor and has steadily climbed the ranks of the organization ever since, having been promoted to deputy editor and later executive editor.

BILL WERDE Kris Graves is the founder and co-director of Kris Graves Projects, a photography and works on paper gallery in D.U.M.B.O., Brooklyn. He also works as the collections photographer for the Guggenheim Museum of Art, in New York. His love for music and art is equal, as his life would be incomplete without one or the other. Graves holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in visual arts from Purchase College, in New York.
