Year In Music Moment Photo Contest JUDGES

Sabine Meyer Sabine Meyer held the position of director of photography for National Geographic Adventure from 1999 to December 2009. Previously, she was a photo editor for Adweek magazines, New York magazine, Worth, and Condé Nast Traveler. Her photo editing work has garnered numerous accolades from Pictures of the Year International, Visa Pour l’Image, Communication Arts, the Society of Publication Designers, the American Society of Magazine Editors, and American Photo. She has been teaching photo editing at ICP since the fall of 2004. She is the co-director of Fovea Exhibitions Beacon Gallery, a non-for-profit photo gallery dedicated to photojournalism based in Beacon, NY.

Sid Hastings Sid Hastings is a picture editor, multimedia producer and photographer with more than 20 years of experience. He has worked as a picture editor at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Copley Chicago Newspapers, Corbis and at the National Geographic Society. Hastings has also created original photography for multiple publications. He is currently working through his company Sid Hastings LLC, and he is an adjunct faculty member at Washington University.

Holly Henderson Holly Henderson is a freelance art buyer and photographer. She has worked for publishing houses including Time Inc., Dennis Publishing, and IMG. She exhibits her work as fine art and some of her commercial clients include Nike, BMW, and the History Channel.

Sarah Foster Sarah Foster is the New York managing editor at Getty Images overseeing a team of editors to variously conceptualize, art direct, and review imagery for a global pool of photographers. She got her start in stock photography 10 years ago, coming from a background of documentary photography and writing. After all this time, she still hates writing bios, but loves pictures and the varied creativity possible in the evolving worlds of art and commerce.

Scott Hall Scott Hall is the photo editor at T: The New York Times Style Magazine. He was previously the photo editor at Departures magazine. He received a B.A. from New York University and an M.A. in Media Studies from The
New School.
