Lacroix Green, 1994 & Sharon Stone, 1994 Shot for Skrebneski's book on haute couture clothing, this green skirt by Lacroix sits alone at the top of the stairs in the designer's garden. "The skirt stood up all by itself — that's how marvelous the workmanship in couture clothing is," says the photographer. "If you turned it over, you'd see the layers of crinolines and nets. I paired it with this photograph of Sharon Stone, but I have no idea why. I just liked the pictures together."
