SKREBNESKI: THE FIRST FIFTY YEARS
In
this latest edition of Legends Online, PDN and Kodak Professional
present the work of Victor Skrebneski, a photographer who has been
hailed as one of the finest fashion, figural and portrait photographers
of all time For more than half a century, Skrebneski has trained
his camera and his unerring eye on the world's most beautiful, celebrated
and accomplished individuals.
His recent book Skrebneski, The First Fifty Years, was produced
in concert with a 50-year retrospective at the Museum of Contemporary
Photography in Chicago. It features 135 of Skrebneski's finest images,
including his wildly inventive fashion photography, his flawless
beauty images, his sculptural and classically influenced nudes,
his starkly reductive celebrity portraits and his hauntingly beautiful
Parisian cityscapes.
