Rather, using his journalistic skills and his inventive personality, McNally creates images that always seem to reveal a new depth to his subjects--to present them in ways that we're simply not used to seeing them. "To come up with something different about a celebrity is certainly challenging," he says, "because they are often photographed people and they also exercise a measure of control over how they are portrayed."
