 ot all photographs taken in war, however, are brutal or tragic, and Morris has had the opportunity to make more touching images. In one shot, made in Bosnia, he spotted a soldier and a woman sitting on a bench and captured a human, if not somewhat ironic, moment.
"I just saw them sitting at a bus stop and he had his gun behind him," recalls Morris. "While I was standing there behind them, eventually he reached over and kissed her."
